Welp, we got the new website up. We have a whole new host of issues we have to find (like making sure everything links correctly… guh… soooooooooo many linnnnnnks), but we at least got the basics up. If you’re interested in helping me, I do need to hunt down all the images on the old site, especially the ones made by Grimay and Pip. If you’re willing to help with that, please reach out to me.
The new site should be much better for those who read on mobile so that’s a good thing. Eventually I want that top banner to not just be a plain orange but a collage of various images that have been made of our characters. But that will take time and right now the priority is updating and migrating all the links to the stories so they all show up here instead of the old site. Lots of work but this move was a long time coming. We’ve been living in Pip’s basement for over a decade XD
In story news, Villain-in-Distress 00’s rewrite is done and just in the editing phase, however it will take some time because the rework is GINORMAMONGOUS (and that is totally a word!). How big is ginormamongous? 27.5 pages before editing. So yeah, it’ll take a bit. However I feel it will be totally worth the effort as I think it sets things up for me much better.
Lots of work to do but we’ll get it done!

While Pip is great and extremely generous to let you piggyback off his site, getting your own site was a long time coming. I’m looking forward to whatever form this new Desk ends up taking!
I posted this in the Discord, but I guess I’ll put it here too so it’s not just in a chat log: I’m willing to track down the images you’re looking for. I have most of them already since I had to upload them to the MGP Wiki (I’m actually the admin there now), and I can look for the others that might be scattered across blog posts and your Patreon, though I’m not sure how you want to handle pinups and other non-canon images. Just say the word and I’ll send them to you however you like.
As for the site itself, there’s some things I’d like to see addressed:
– There is currently no easily found link to the Discord server. I’m pretty sure it’s buried in a blog post right now, when it should probably be somewhere more accessible.
– Right now, the only links to your Patreon are in blog posts and the Stories page. I don’t know if this is by design or not, but I felt it was worth bringing up since it affects your livelihood and all.
– “Forums” and “MGP Wikia” currently go through redirects because the URLs have changed since you implemented those links. Also, the link to the wiki should change “Wikia” to “Wiki” since the wiki has been renamed in response to the Wikia brand getting phased out.
– On the Stories page, MGP Chapters 53-55 all link to 52 instead. Additionally, Chapter 56 is mislabeled as 55, though it currently does link to 56 as intended.
– Despite being listed with a description on the Stories page, there is no link to The Star-kin and Creation.
– There’s some pages on the old site with no readily accessible links to them, like the Magical Gridiron Posse fantasy football league page, so those shouldn’t be overlooked when deciding how to move the old site’s content. This also applies to MGP Alpha, which I know you kept tucked away on purpose after you started the current MGP, but it’d be a shame to lose those relics for good if they don’t get migrated here and the old site goes down.
– This is something little that just personally bothers me, but only some of the works on the Stories page are dated. I don’t know how much of a hassle it would be to find the date of everything, though.
– I know the Artstuffs page is getting an overhaul for the rest of the MGP images, but it also currently lacks images for Villain-In-Distress, Bunny Shell, and Villains’ Union of America (the latter two have their images integrated into the chapters).

The blue text color on the yellow textured background is hard to read.
You think so? I had this exact coloring on the last site and didn’t receive much in the way of complaints. What do you think the issue is? Not enough contrast? yellow is too yellow?
The old site the yellow was only the color of the left sidebar now. In the repeating image, the yellow is much more vibrant and the image has dark patches that blend with the text poorly.
I updated the color scheme and look forward to your feedback on it.
I also have to agree with Magicshoppe. I know that it would prevent me from reading any future chapters. I would say that the text color just doesn’t stand out from the background.
