So I just posted the May Vignette called “Back to Basics”. It focuses on a different area of the social they are currently at. It’s somethign I sort of wanted to do but it didn’t feel like it was important enough to put in the official chapters. I hope those of you who are $2 and up enjoy it.
Now I’ve got some really awesome news. Reader and general wonderful person Lowten has made a WIKI for MGP! Seriously! This is going to be very helpful for me as a writer but maybe also for you readers. You all should check it out and, if it sparks your interest. Add to it! Also, this is another good time for me to link us to the TVTropes page for people to also edit if they so like it. You have no idea how much it buoys my spirits to see you all making stuff around my universe. I get sooooo giddy when I see that. So, again, HUGE thanks to Lowten! Everyone should give Lowten a digital high five or pat on the back!
So the chapter should be done before the end of the month. I also have commissioned Grimay for the June picture. So content is on the way! Just know that if it isn’t done by the end of the month know that it’s entirely Overwatch’s fault as it’s coming out today. Basically it’s awesome and you all should play it 🙂

there is still a bit of work that needs to be done on the wiki and what is there can definitely be expanded on. If you feel something should be added go right ahead. there is also a Forum section if anyof you want to use it

I’m not sure I can agree. It’s only $40 and that’s peanuts for a AAA title that’s going to get support Blizzard is known for.
Ummm Personally I think blizzards poor support and lack of content in wow, is enough reason not to invest in anymore titles from them (just mho though). If you enjoy it that is all that counts. 🙂
well WoW’s team is completely different from the Overwatch team. Also I’m not sure how there is a lack of content in WoW given the game still gets an expansion every two years despite being out since 2004. That seems like a lot of content to me. Plus there is the fact that Hearthstone and their new MOBA are getting consistent updates. I feel Blizzard has a pretty good track record of supporting their games. They are even updating old games like the original Warcraft and Diablo to run on newer systems. I feel if you look at all their games you see a pretty good standard of updating their games. I clearly am a Blizzard supporter but even if you feel WoW doesn’t have that good a record of providing content, I think all the other games paint a pretty flattering picture to make you have confidence that Overwatch will get good support. I mean, they are even balancing the game different for consoles than they do for PC since it’s a completely different experience. Seems pretty legit to me.

Yeah, having the TVTropes page is awesome… it’s actually how I discovered the story last year! I’m really excited about there being a wiki. I’ve never contributed to a wiki before, so if there’s a need for contributors I’d be interested in lending a hand.
Overwatch seems like it has such an awesome backstory and characters, but there are two things that really seem like they’ll keep me from playing it. Is it true that there’s no single-player, story-driven campaign? And that it’s really a competitive, PvP-only game?
If so, I may decide to invest more in Battleborn in the future (after I’ve worked through more of my console game backlog). Like Overwatch, it’s a character-driven, LoL-style FPS. The difference is that it does have a single-player story mode for me to enjoy, and I can then choose to indulge in PvP only occasionally. Plus, it’s made by 2K and it looks like they’ve infused it with the same goodness they put into the Borderlands Trilogy. (And I heart Borderlands.)
Oh, and please don’t think I’m disparaging Overwatch! Or even trying to put it below Battleborn. I’m just talking what looks to be a better fit for me personally.

Zexand there is plenty to add to the wiki and all help is welcome. all that’s there is at present is a simple set of character bio’s. for some of the bio’s some sections such as personality only have a few keywords that need expanding on, there is lots to be added about emapthokineses [i think thats how to spell it 🙁 ] and the empire there may be other characters that need pages as the story progresses. The wiki is for the group so anyone who wants to add something they can

Thanks lowten, I plan to follow through here soon. Just need to figure out how to start chipping away at it. I’ll probably be able to do some work later this week.
And maybe we need to shut down Overwatch for a few hours? Taralynn said we’d have a new chapter by the end of the month, and we’re getting perilously close.
If anyone shuts down the Overwatch servers I’ll turn Robert back into a boy and he’ll get into a relationship with Cammy! I’ll do it! I’ll do it! I’m crazy! Don’t push me man! Don’t push me! You take away my Overwatch and I’ll burn your internet down!
