Everyone, Grimay has come down from the mountain and has bestowed upon us the June picture! Behold!
For those wondering, yes, that is Robynne, Vivian, and, making her first visual appearance, Stacy, walking to the SFEERS social. I love how Stacy turned out. She is perfect. Her outfit was inspired by an outfit I fell in love with a LONG time ago from the Pokémon anime. It was from a one-off character named Marina. Apparently they reused the name or something because when I did a search for her some other Pokémon character came up. She had a Starmie or something. Her outfit was supposed to, I think, be some sort of one-piece surfer outfit or something but I just had Grimay change the color to orange and the leg-part of the one piece to shorts. I love how it turned out. Stacy is every bit as adorable as I hoped.
Also, before I move onto other topics, can I just point out the lighting in this picture is SOOOO good? I mean, THAT is a school hallway. The reflections are just right and have that halogen glow about them and the shadows are expertly placed. Grimay is amazing.
June 23rd is still my target date for Chapter 37 so keep an eye out for that. Also, BIG thanks to Annie for helping me get everything together for updating the art page. I’ll be spending some time the next few days getting the website all up to date.

I have no idea why I imagined Stacy was blonde. I probably ignored some detail somewhere, and decided what I thought her hair would be.
It’s the color i pictured but after her first convo with Robynne i thought her hair was long enough for a ponytail. but the pic looks great

This might be my favorite so far. So fun! I think my favorite part is how Grimay draws hair; it looks so lively, and all three of them have a very distinct look, even though it’s the same art style. I’m not an artist, by any means, but that’s what catches my eye.

I think his style is such a perfect fit for MGP, and is all-around in the higher tiers of fanart I’ve seen (even if commissioned). I think Stacy is totally adorable, and matches up really well with what I imagined. Though he brings enough of his own take to Stacy, which differs from mine, so that it feels fresh.
Vivian has always looked like she’s having fun in the fanart I’ve seen, and I don’t think I can imagine Stacy not having fun… but it’s especially nice to see Robynne actually enjoying herself! And the eyeroll is such a nice touch. Also, I completely agree with Annie on how well Grimay has done their hair.
I raise my glass to Grimay.
Grimay made a subtle adjustment to Rob’s complexion, but it’s nice. Her skin has just a little bit of pink to it to make it healthy. In the last one, she looked pale white. Sheamus white. Didn’t look right. This time, it’s perfect.
You know, I got my B.S. from a SAU (but it was Southren Arkansas University). It didn’t have any people with unusual hair colors, or any cheerleader themed superhero groups. Too bad, that would have been …interesting.
I kinda pictured Stacy as being taller, and Robynne and Vivian as being shorter. But beautiful picture, anyway. :thumbsup:
